Farmers should be represented by farmers. Our focus is to represent the small-scale producers and express their needs and concerns when conversations are taking place regarding food system development. We believe that we can build strong, resilient communities that are supported by a sustainable food system if the right obstacles are identified and strategies are not only developed but correctly implemented to successfully overcome those hurdles.

Our services include value-chain coordination, grant writing, feasibility studies, and food hub strategies and models. Tadd Petersen, the founder and primary consultant of Harvest Design Co, has served as the lead subject matter expert for a variety of differing grant proposals. His work developed a sound strategy and guided the process from the initial planning stages to the submission of the proposal.
